School Council

What is a School Council?

Our School Council is an important part of our school life. We have been elected by our class to join together once a fortnight to have an open discussion where we discuss ideas sent from all classes to improve the school.

Following each meeting a discussion point is sent to classes for them to chat about and come up with suggestions to return to the following School Council meeting where the cycle starts again.

Fundraising

We have had a variety of fundraising events some to raise money for national charities, such as Children in Need and Comic Relief. We also have events to raise money for our school to allow School Council to make purchases to enhance our environment. Some of the events we have held are things such as Jolly Jumper Day, film night and fancy dress days. The whole school have loved joining in these successful events and we have raised some fantastic amounts.
